I’ve been a member of the SWG for two years now but actively, really only for the past year. It’s an incredible group, full of really talented writers who give great feedback and push you to keep writing, working, challenging yourself.
For more on our meetings, check out this post I wrote last year:
It’s a great moment when you celebrate one of your fellow writers’ success and now founder and former Human rights lawyer, Alice Clark Platt’s new novel, Bitter Fruits has been published by Penguin.
It’s a detective thriller and the first in her DI Erica Martin series. A student is found dead in Durham university, and though the student president confesses, it’s far from an open and shut case…
I absolutely love the front cover and I love a thriller (writing one myself!) so I’ll definitely be reading (and probably reviewing) it. I just need the right holiday to curl up with it on…
