Another Tuesday, another video…
I give you the loquacious, tenacious, bundle of energy that is Lisa!
works for GSK
fluent Yoruba speaker
I was looking forward to brunch with Lisa because in her own words and I quote, “I brunch hard!”. I also find her style very eclectic, especially going by the sweet paper earrings she once bought me from Chennai.
BGIS: How long have you lived in Singapore?
L: Almost 3 years.
BGIS: Where’s been your favourite holiday spot so far?
L: India. Ponticherry, especially, a little French seaside town in India. Go figure.
BGIS: What advice would you give someone moving here?
L: Find friends quickly and know that it’s going to be really expensive!
BGIS: What’s the best thing about living in Singapore?
L: The travel, how easily accessible you are to so many other countries.
BGIS: And what’s the worst?
L: It’s between the humidity and the expense!
We ate at Epicurius in Robertson Quay. I had the breakfast burrito which is so scrumptious, and the potatoes grilled to a perfect crunch. Lisa had the steak and eggs which she was very happy with. It’s lovely sitting by the river, and there’s a little area to the side of the restaurant for kids to play in, so it’s family friendly. Just be warned, Epicurius can get very busy on weekends.
Till next week!
