Hope you all rung in the New Year well, whether you were chilling with family, taking stock of the past year or partying into the early morning.
I normally go to church for a New Year’s Eve service back in the UK, but our church here in Spore (New Creation) didn’t have a service so instead, we (hubby and I )went to a friend’s house party in Novena and then to a party at KPO on Killiney road (which is adjoined to a post office!) It was good fun and I met lots of new people, but I missed praying, family and fireworks so maybe something different this year…
We had a quiet New Year’s day and then it was my birthday the next day! And my twin sister’s birthday! Ive taken a little break from Facebook so thank you to all the friends and family who remembered and called from Nigeria, London and Cameroon and sent flowers from Australia (shucks!) I never remember birthdays so I was really touched.
I had a lovely birthday dinner at One Fullerton Bay Hotel which was so delicious and special and then last night it was drinks with friends at Limehouse, Singapore’s only Carribbean restaurant/bar on Jiak Chuan road.
Here are some pics of what I was wearing for those that are interested!
I’ve got another post coming right up about my ‘goals’ for 2014 and how I want to start the year and also a new look for BGIS. I’m very excited!
